Over the years, I've had the privilege of helping people navigate some of life's most important financial decisions. What I've learned is that most money challenges are rarely about investments alone. They are about balancing goals, responsibilities, opportunities and uncertainties while trying to build a meaningful life.
That's why I founded Good Moneying Wealth Planners. I wanted to create a firm where financial advice begins with understanding the person before discussing products, investments or strategies. Every recommendation starts with your goals, your circumstances and the life you want your money to support.
As a SEBI Registered Investment Adviser, we work on a fee-only basis, which means our clients pay us directly for advice and we earn no commissions from financial products. The same belief is reflected in my book, The Art of Being Good with Money — that better financial decisions come from clarity, understanding and thoughtful guidance, not product sales.

Working With Us & Fees
Money's the part everyone wants to be clear about, so we keep it simple. You pay us a clear advisory fee that we agree together before any work begins — and that fee is the only way we earn. No commissions, no cut from any product, nothing hidden in the background. You'll know exactly what you're paying and what it covers from the very first conversation, so there are no surprises later.
It means we're paid by one person only: you. We don't earn commissions or incentives from mutual funds, insurance companies, or anyone selling a product. So when we suggest something — or suggest you do nothing at all — it's because we think it's right for you, not because it pays us more. That's the whole point of working this way. It quietly removes a conflict that sits behind a lot of financial advice, and it's why our advice can stay firmly on your side.
We advise — we don't hold your money or place trades for you. Everything stays in your own accounts, in your name, where you can see it. We'll tell you plainly what we think you should do and why, and then walk you through actually doing it, step by step. If you'd like help putting things in place, we'll guide you through the process step by step. But the accounts, and the final call, always stay yours.
Not at all. Nothing moves to us, and we never hold your money. We begin by looking at what you already have — investments, insurance, loans, all of it — and help you make sense of what's working, what isn't, and what might be worth changing. Any change is your decision, made through your own accounts, in your own time. Often the most useful thing we do is simply help you understand what you already own.
You don't have to sign up for a full plan to talk to us. Some people come with one specific question; others want to step back and look at the whole picture. Both are fine. That said, we'll usually want to understand a little about your life first, because an investment decision rarely sits on its own — it's tied to your goals, your responsibilities, and whatever else is going on. Sometimes a single decision is all that's needed. Sometimes a broader plan makes more sense. Our job is to help you figure out which is which.
Getting Started
It's just a relaxed chat to get to know each other — no cost, no obligation, no sales pitch. We'll ask about your goals and what's prompting you to look for advice, and you can ask us anything at all, including how we work and what it costs. The only aim is for both of us to figure out whether we're a good fit. And if we're not, we'll tell you honestly — we'd rather do that than take on the wrong client.
Yes, completely. Conversations, planning, reviews — all of it can happen over video calls and email, wherever you are. You don't need to come to an office or live in a particular city, which makes things easy for busy professionals and for NRIs across different time zones. If you'd ever like to meet in person, we can usually sort that out too — but you'll never need to.
There's no fixed script for this. This is meant to be an ongoing relationship, not a one-time report you file away. We'll catch up to review things at regular points, and whenever something big shifts — a new job, a major expense, a decision you're chewing over. And in between, you can just reach out when something's on your mind. The idea is simple: you always have someone to think it through with.

Some of the people we work with are just getting started; others have a lot more moving parts to manage. The easiest way to know if it's a fit is simply to have that first conversation. We do. We work with Indians living abroad who are juggling money, goals, and family responsibilities across two countries. We help bring some order to your India investments and how they sit alongside your life overseas. Since everything's handled online, distance and time zones aren't an issue. Cross-border money can get tangled, and a big part of our job is helping you think it through calmly and make decisions you genuinely understand.
We're probably not your people if you're after hot stock tips, quick trades, or someone promising big or guaranteed returns — that's not how we work, and the truth is, nobody can honestly promise those things. We're also not a great match if you'd rather hand everything over and never look at it again. Where we do fit well is with people who want to understand their own decisions and build something steady, with an adviser firmly on their side.
