Your money deserves a plan.
Your life deserves your attention.
You have a career to build, a family to be present for and a future to prepare for. Managing your finances well matters—but it shouldn't require you to manage every financial decision yourself.
Good Moneying helps professionals and families bring their financial decisions together, with comprehensive financial planning, investment advice and support in putting recommendations into practice.
A conversation first. No obligation.
Your financial life has grown. Has the way you manage it kept pace?
As your income, investments and family responsibilities grow, your financial decisions stop being separate. One choice affects another, and over time it becomes more important to see how these decisions fit together.
Most people we meet aren't short of financial information. They're short of time, coordination and someone to help them follow through.
This is what that complexity can look like in everyday life.
- Decisions made in separate boxes Investments, insurance, loans, tax considerations and goals—each handled on its own, rarely together.
- Not enough time Your career and family rightly come first, so financial decisions keep getting postponed.
- Uncertain priorities Children's education, a home, parents, retirement—what should come first, and how much is enough?
- Recommendations that never become action A good plan is only useful once it's put into practice—and that's often where things stall.

Our core engagement
Comprehensive Financial Planning & Investment Advisory
Your financial decisions are connected. Your advice should be too.
Financial planning and investment advice are connected parts of one relationship. We look at your financial life as a whole—not one product or one goal at a time—so that each decision is made in the context of your wider position, goals and priorities.
- Cash flow & net worth
- Goals & priorities
- Investments & asset allocation
- Insurance needs
- Liabilities & loans
- Retirement
- Tax considerations
- Family & life transitions
What we cover, and in how much depth, depends on your circumstances and the scope we agree with you.
-
01
Understand your financial position
Your goals, finances, responsibilities and priorities—where you stand today and what matters most.
-
02
Build a coordinated strategy
Clear recommendations across investments, protection, debt and goals that work together, not against each other.
-
03
Support implementation, where you want it
Help organising the actions, documentation and transactions needed to put suitable recommendations in place.
-
04
Continue the advisory relationship
Ongoing advice as your career, family, goals and markets change.
Where agreed — see ongoing advisory
You stay in control.
Your money stays in your own accounts and in your name, and every decision remains yours. Implementation support is available as part of the engagement, but it isn't compulsory—you are always free to implement recommendations yourself.
A focused, one-time engagement
Already investing? Get an independent second opinion.
Many experienced investors aren't looking for a new plan. They want to know whether their portfolio and investment approach still make sense for them.
Our Investment Review is an independent assessment of your existing investments in the context of your goals, risk profile, time horizon and wider circumstances, to the extent covered by the engagement. It isn't a ranking of which fund has performed best recently—it's an honest look at whether the way your money is invested is right for you.
It is a focused review, not a substitute for comprehensive planning. If your circumstances call for a broader look, we'll tell you so.
What the review looks at
- Asset allocation and how your portfolio is constructed
- Suitability for your goals, time horizon and risk profile
- Risk, concentration and unnecessary duplication
- Whether your investment approach still fits your objectives
The objective is to assess whether your investments and overall strategy are appropriate for your goals, risk profile and circumstances—and to identify opportunities to improve your portfolio where needed. Better investment outcomes matter, but they cannot be guaranteed.
The review looks at direct equity holdings as part of your overall portfolio; it does not include individual stock recommendations or stock-specific research.
Ask about an Investment ReviewRetirement Planning
Retirement is not just a number. It is a life you are preparing for.
For many people, retirement is one of several goals within comprehensive financial planning—and that is where it is addressed. For others, especially as retirement comes closer, the decisions around it deserve focused attention of their own.
- Whether you are ready to retire, and when
- The income you will need after work
- How your investments and expenses fit together
- Moving from a salary to funding life after work
The continuing relationship
Ongoing Financial Advisory: beyond the initial plan
An initial plan provides direction. An ongoing advisory relationship helps keep financial decisions aligned as life changes.
A financial plan is prepared at one moment in your life. After that, careers move, families grow, markets shift and new decisions arrive—often with little notice.
Ongoing advisory is the continuing relationship that can follow the comprehensive engagement, within the scope we agree with you. Its value lies in continuity: an adviser who already understands your financial life and can help you think through what comes next.
Within the agreed scope, it can include:
-
Reviewing where you stand
Your cash flow, net worth, investments, liabilities and progress towards your goals.
-
Keeping your investment strategy suitable
Checking whether your asset allocation still fits as your circumstances and objectives evolve.
-
Discussing decisions before you act
Someone to think important financial decisions through with you before they are made, not after.
-
Reassessing priorities when life changes
A new role, a growing family, a change in income or retirement coming closer.
-
Supporting follow-through
Helping agreed recommendations get acted on, and keeping your financial decisions coordinated with each other.
-
Context, not isolated answers
Each new question is considered against what we already understand about your financial life.
It isn't simply an annual check-up or an occasional portfolio update. Nor does it replace your involvement: you remain part of every decision, and no adviser can guarantee investment outcomes. What it offers is continuity, context and considered advice over time.
6–8 New ongoing advisory relationships a quarter, typically
A deliberately limited practice
Ongoing advice works best when we know each client's financial life well. To give every relationship the attention it needs, we deliberately limit the number of new ongoing advisory relationships we take on.
An introductory conversation is just the beginning. The planning process helps us understand your needs better and decide whether an ongoing relationship makes sense for both of us.
Who is ongoing financial advisory for?
You may be perfectly capable of managing your finances yourself. You may already understand investments, track your portfolio and make sensible decisions.
But financial management isn't a one-time exercise. As your income, responsibilities and priorities evolve, decisions that once made sense may need to be revisited. An ongoing advisory relationship can help you keep those decisions connected, with someone who understands your financial life and the context behind it.
Working with an adviser isn't about giving up control of your money. It's about having professional judgement, continuity and support—so your financial life gets the attention it deserves without you having to manage every detail yourself.
You may find an ongoing advisory relationship valuable if you…
- Have a demanding professional life and limited time to coordinate your financial affairs.
- Want your financial decisions to remain connected to your family responsibilities and long-term goals.
- Value informed discussions and professional judgement when making important financial decisions.
- Appreciate having an adviser who understands your financial situation and can help you respond as circumstances change.
- Would rather devote more of your attention to your work, family and other priorities, without neglecting your financial life.
A return on your money. And a return on your life.
Good financial advice should help you make informed decisions about your money. But its value can extend beyond investment returns.
Return on Investment matters. So does Return on Life—the time, attention and mental space you can give back to the things that matter to you.
An adviser cannot promise better investment returns. But a thoughtful, ongoing relationship can help you approach financial decisions with greater clarity, and spend less of your time coordinating every detail yourself.

Frequently asked questions
What does a fee-only, SEBI-registered Investment Adviser do?
A SEBI-registered Investment Adviser gives investment advice for a fee, based on your risk profile and what is suitable for you. Good Moneying Wealth Planners Pvt. Ltd. is registered with SEBI as an Investment Adviser (Non-Individual), registration no. INA000018744, and you can check this on SEBI's website.
Fee-only means we are paid only by our clients. We don't earn commissions from mutual funds, insurance or any other product, so our recommendations aren't linked to what a product pays. Where available, we recommend direct (commission-free) plans of mutual funds. A distributor, by contrast, is typically paid commissions by the companies whose products they sell.
Who does Good Moneying work with?
Mainly established salaried and corporate professionals, NRI families with India-linked finances, and people approaching or living in retirement, along with other professionals and families who want an independent, coordinated approach to their finances. What matters more than income or portfolio size is valuing independent advice and wanting your financial decisions to stay connected as life changes.
Do you work with salaried corporate professionals?
Yes—they are the core of our practice. As careers progress, salary, bonuses, employee benefits, investments, insurance and family goals all need to work together. We help bring them into one coordinated plan and support you in acting on it.
Do you work with NRIs?
Yes. We advise NRI families on India-linked investments, family responsibilities and, where relevant, plans to return to India, taking cross-border circumstances into account. Our NRI financial planning page explains this in more detail.
Is your service limited to investments?
No. Investments are one part of the picture. Depending on the agreed scope, comprehensive planning can also consider your cash flow, net worth, goals, insurance needs, liabilities, retirement and tax-related considerations, so that investment decisions fit the rest of your financial life.
What is the difference between comprehensive financial planning and an Investment Review?
Comprehensive Financial Planning & Investment Advisory looks at your whole financial life—goals, cash flow, investments, protection, liabilities and retirement—and can include implementation support and an ongoing advisory relationship. An Investment Review is a focused, one-time assessment of the investments you already hold. If your situation calls for the broader view, we'll suggest it.
Do you help implement financial recommendations?
Yes, if you want us to. Implementation support can be part of the comprehensive engagement: we help you organise the actions involved and work through the documentation and transactions needed to put suitable recommendations in place. Your investments stay in your own accounts and in your name, we never hold your money, and no transaction happens without your specific consent.
It isn't compulsory—you remain free to implement recommendations yourself. The scope of support is agreed with you at the start.
Can I get a second opinion on my existing investments?
Yes. Our Investment Review is a focused, one-time engagement for anyone who already has a portfolio—you don't need to be an existing client. It independently assesses your investments against your goals, risk profile and circumstances, looking at asset allocation, construction, concentration and suitability, and identifies opportunities to improve your portfolio where needed. Outcomes can't be guaranteed, and the review doesn't include individual stock recommendations.
Do you provide retirement planning in India?
Yes. Retirement can be planned as one of your goals within comprehensive financial planning, or through a focused retirement engagement if that is what you need. Read more about our approach to retirement planning services in India.
How do I know whether ongoing advisory is right for me?
It tends to suit people whose financial lives keep changing and who would value an adviser who already understands their situation when the next decision comes up. If you would rather review and manage things yourself after receiving recommendations, a focused engagement may be enough. The ongoing advisory section above explains what the relationship involves. The introductory conversation is a starting point, and the planning process helps us both decide whether an ongoing relationship makes sense.
Let's understand what matters to you
Every financial life is different. An introductory conversation gives us an opportunity to understand your priorities, explain how we work and decide whether our approach is right for your needs.
A conversation first. No obligation.
